DOMESTIC SHIPPING POLICY

Shipping Costs

We ship across Nigeria, to every state – thanks to our logistics partners and shippers. Shipping costs are fixed by shippers. Shipping cost depends on your location and total order weight. Shipping charges for your order will be automatically calculated and displayed to you at the point of checkout. Shipping rates are calculated by weight and destination, and prices are charged by our logistics/ delivery partners.

Our Main Shippers/ Logistics Handlers:

  • FEDEX/ Redstar Express, DHL, TopShip, Terminal Africa
  • GIG Logistics, GUO, IFEX, Peace Mass Transit

When Will You Receive Your Order?

Here’s our delivery timeline estimates:

  • Within Abuja: 1-2 working days; usually same day if the order is paid for before 11am
  • Outside Abuja: 3-5 working days; usually within 2-3 working days after order is placed (and paid for)
  • International/ Outside Nigeria: 7-15 working days (details are below).

Note that these are estimated timings and so delivery could be earlier. Occasionally, delivery delays can occur, sometimes due to reasons beyond our control. We usually email or text (sms) waybill and shipment tracking numbers to customers.

Usually, we ship most orders within same day or the next day after we confirm your payment. Orders are shipped between Mondays and Fridays (i.e., excluding weekends and public holidays). Orders placed on a weekend or public holiday will be shipped on the first working day after.

Same day delivery is only available for orders with delivery addresses within Abuja, and for orders placed before noon/ 12pm.. WITHIN ABUJA, we use commercial dispatch rider logistics to deliver to customers.

Once shipped, orders are generally received within 7 working days.

Shipment Confirmation and Order Tracking

Confirmed and paid-for orders are delivered within same day or next day (within Abuja) and within 2-5 working days (outside Abuja) – excluding public holidays and weekends.

With every confirmed and paid-for order, you will receive a shipment confirmation email once your order has shipped. This email contains details of your order, verifying your payment mode and delivery address.

After we ship out your item(s), you will receive another email confirming your shipping details, and shipping tracking number (where available).
Customers are always welcome to call our customer service line for any questions and/or specific details on orders.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING POLICY

How Much Will it Cost to Ship to My Country?

Shipping cost is based on the total order weight and location, and is fixed/ charged by logistics/ shipping companies. Use this shipping calculator to get an idea of your shipping cost: https://topship.africa/

Just enter your location (country, city) and total order weight, and our location (Abuja, Nigeria). You should see your shipping cost estimate displayed to you. After that and when ready, message us (via email or WhatsApp) to ask us to enable your location for shipping. We’ll do that and then you can see your shipping cost upon checkout at our website.

When Will My Order reach me?

Our delivery timeline for international customers (Outside Nigeria): 7-15 working days, on average. Usually, you’ll get a tracking information so that you can keep an eye on the movement of your package.

International Shipping Carriers We Use

We usually use FEDEX, DHL, UPS to ship International orders. We also use other Independent shipping/ Logistics agents for countries not covered by DHL and FEDEX, or where DHL or FEDEX is significantly costlier. We try to find logistics and shipping companies with affordable rates – for our customers.

Sometimes, we also use other International Shipping Agents, aside from DHL and FEDEX.

Is Your Ordered Item Allowed to Enter Your Country of Residence?

It is the customer’s responsibility to first confirm that the items they are ordering is allowed to enter their country.

Shipment to P.O. boxes or APO/ FPO addresses

Elsie Organics does not ship to P.O. boxes and APO/ FPO/ DPO addresses. Please provide a physical address for your order where you can arrange to pickup your items on receipt.

Customs, Duties and Taxes

Our item prices are exclusive of customs duties and taxes which may or may not be charged by your country at your end, when receiving your items. You (customer) is responsible for covering any taxes, customs duties and charges charged at your end.

Items shipped to International locations may be subject to customs duties and additional charges. Please note that we do not include/ cover any customs or duties fees and taxes in our shipping fees, as we have no control over them. The customer is responsible for covering any taxes, customs duties and charges charged at their end.

Therefore, Elsie Organics is not responsible for any customs clearance charges and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

Please confirm with your country Customs Department that the items you intend to purchase from us is allowed to enter your country. We would not be held responsible for any shipments that are stopped at your country Customs. Please note that we are unable to make any refunds for items we have shipped out, due to hygienic handling demands of the nature of personal care formulation ingredients which we sell.

PhytoSanitary and Quarantine Certificates

If you’re ordering any seed-form or leaf-form product/ ingredient, you need to order for PhytoSanitary and Quarantine certificates before they are allowed to ship. You can find them on our website to add to your cart.

International Shipping Policy across countries requires that plant-based (Agro) products in the form of seeds and leaves require both PhytoSanitary and Quarantine inspection tests and Certificates in order to be allowed to ship internationally. This requires extra payment for each seed or leaf ingredient you are ordering. It is affordable and the payment goes straight to the country department in charge of these inspection.

Shipping companies help process these on behalf of the customer. Both certificates are available on our website to include to your order. Just search for: Quarantine certificate. or search for PhytoSanitary certificate on our website.

Examples of ingredients/ products that require these are: Ambunu LEAVES, Fenugreek SEEDS, etc.

Damages

Elsie Organics is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

While we will do all we can to ensure your order is delivered on time, Elsie Organics cannot be held responsible for conditions beyond our control such as severe weather, customs and border issues (for international shipments), service interruptions, etc.

Shipment Processing Time

Most orders will ship out within 24 to 48 hours of ordering and after payment is received. On days that we receive a lot of orders, orders are processed within 24-48 hours after receiving cleared payment. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays, due to the working schedules of most shipping/ logistics handlers.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

While we will do all we can to ensure your order is delivered safely and on time, Elsie Organics cannot be held responsible for conditions beyond our control such as severe weather, customs and border issues (for international shipments), service interruptions, etc.

WHAT IF YOU ENTERED A WRONG SHIPPING ADDRESS?

We try to process orders fast. So, please confirm that you entered the correct address before finalizing your order.

We send out shipping confirmation emails after the items have already been shipped out. Therefore, if it’s in the shipping confirmation email we send you that that you mistakenly entered an incorrect shipping address, unfortunately, it is too late for us to make a change.

Again, please ensure that you confirm your shipping address while placing an order.

RETURNS POLICY

Both our local and international shipments are subject to our standard return policy and non-refundable shipping charge.

PAYMENT METHODS

1. Online Payment (Debit Card/ Credit Card)

We accept all major cards issued in Nigeria such as VISA, MasterCard, and Verve. Payments are secure and safe on our website – PayStack is our payment processor, which means that payments made on our website are processed on their encrypted secure servers. paystack is a World-known payment processor for many large organisations including MTN, BuyPower and others.

To complete the payment process, during payment, customers will need to enter their 16-digit Debit Card number and the 3 digit CVV Code (Card Verification Value – found on the back of the card) and their card pin to complete the payment flow.

Please be assured that all Debit/ Credit card details remain confidential and private. ElsieOrganics.com and our trusted payment gateway Paystack use SSL encryption technology to protect your card information.

2. Bank Transfer

While placing an order on our website, if you choose bank transfer payment method, we will immediately send you an email containing your order and payment details.

WHAT TO DO AFTER MAKING PAYMENT FOR YOUR ORDER

After payment, please email your teller number or transaction reference number for online transfer, order ID and name of depositor to contact@beautykink.com after making a payment. Please note that your order will only be processed after we receive confirmation of payment from the applicable bank.
