Appearance: White crystalline powder
Solubility: Insoluble in water, soluble in alcohol and oils.
Shelf Life: 2 years when properly stored.
Storage: Store in a tightly sealed container, in a cool, dry place away from heat and direct sunlight.
Formulation Guide
Usage Rate: Recommended usage is between 0.1% – 5% depending on the product (being formulated) and desired effect.
Incorporation Phase: Add Camphor powder to the cool-down phase of your formulation.
Temperature: Camphor Powder is heat-sensitive, and so should be added at temperatures below 40°C (104°F) to prevent evaporation and preserve efficacy.
Stable pH Range: Camphor Powder is stable in a wide pH range, ideally between 4.5 to 8.
