‎Formulation Guidelines & Notes (Niacinamide Powder)

‎Usage Rate: Typically 1-5% in leave-on products; up to 10% in products for targeted treatments.

Solubility: Water-soluble

‎Heat Sensitivity: Heat-stable (i.e. not heat-sensitive). However, very high heat above 60°C can cause Niacinamide to degrade.

‎Stable pH Range: 4.5 to 6.0 for optimal stability and efficacy.

‎How to Dissolve: Dissolve Niacinamide Powder in room-temperature water or aqueous solution. You can also apply low heat (at or below 40°C) to aid the dissolving process.

‎Incorporation Method/ Phase: Dissolve in water phase during cool-down stage below 40°C temperature.

‎Not Compatible With: Acidic or alkaline ingredients or actives. Do not combine Niacinamide with acidic or alkaline ingredients in the same formulation, as this can cause a PH clash, reducing its potency and also may cause skin irritations. Examples of acidic ingredients include L-ascorbic acid., Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid,
