This is Oil-Soluble Sepi White powder.
INCI Name: Undecylenoyl phenylalanine
Purity: 99%
Ingredient Function: Skin lightening agent/ brightener, Tyrosinase Inhibitor, fades dark spot.
Appearance: White or off-white to yellow or pinky-beige powder
Solubility: Dissolves in oil, ethanol; insoluble in water.
Stable pH Ranges: 3.5 to 5 (optimal pH); or within pH 6.2 to 7.
Compatibility: Can be combined with other active ingredients such as AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Acids), Niacinamide and Ascorbyl Glucoside.
Storage: Store in a dry, cool place away from moisture and direct sunlight.
Shelf Life: 12 months, if properly stored.
Usage Rate: 0.2 to 2%
Applications: SepiWhite MSH can be found in skin-lightening products, including serums, creams/ lotions, and moisturizers.

Formulation Notes/ Guidelines
- Use within the recommended usage rate (0.2-2%) in the heated oil phase (above 60°C;
- First dissolve SepiWhite MSH powder before combining with the rest of your formula;
- Ensure that the SepiWhite powder is fully dissolved and the solution is clear before adding other ingredients ;
- Add SepiWhite MSH powder to the heated oil phase of your formula at temperature above 60°C (140°F), or add to warm oil within that temperature;
- Adjust pH to 3.5 to 5 (optimal pH); or pH 6.2 to 7 (although not the optimal pH range).
Other Recommended Formulation Notes for Working with SepiWhite MSH
- When combining SepiWhite MSH powder with other brightening Ingredient: use 0.2%
- When formulating with SepiWhite MSH as the only brightening Ingredient, use from 0.2% up to 2%.
- Ideal pH: 5 or below 5, or 6.2 to 7
- If the base formula has a pH below 5, SepiWhite MSH powder is compatible and can be incorporated;
- If the base formula has between pH 5 and pH 6.2, incorporate SepiWhite MSH together with up to 20% Ethanol (although this is not the ideal pH range for SepiWhite MSH).
- If the base formula has a pH between 6.2 and above, SepiWhite MSH powder can be incorporated.
